Egyptian Women

As an Egyptian Woman, I can not really tell whether some Egyptian women prefer to locate their life partner abroad or not necessarily! This I can not confirm.

But what I can assure and for definite, is that Egyptian Women seek a Decent, kind, gentleman, respectable, responsible, loving and caring, open minded and a fair guy.

Nothing new over there, as most women from almost all cultures, seek in their life partner.

Egyptian Women are not coming from another planet, we are just different. Different Culture.

As an Egyptian, I consider my self lucky, because I have never had any problems about my freedom nor a problem about being a woman; in a Male Father Community. In the meantime, I did not have any problem, about being a responsible person for that freedom which my family offered me volunteerly.

But unfortunately, not all Women in Egypt have the same luckiness I had.

I don’t want to get into further details which will be far from the initial issue here. Which is the online dating.

Egyptian Women are very kind, responsible, loyal, sacrificing, loving, caring, patient to the utmost.

Egyptian Women are very hard workers, specially as housewives.

Believe it or not, but working as a housewife in Egypt, is harder than having a carrier. Why? Because the poor woman is loaded with almost everything when it comes to house work.

It is a great thing that a woman will have her feminine touch at home; But it is not fair and a real disaster, when she has to fulfill almost 99.9 % of the house responsibilities, without getting any help from the members of her family.

It is the woman who has to take care of the kids in all aspects, take care of the house in all aspects, take care of the whole family, even if she has a carrier.

It is almost considered a shame for a man to do the house work (unless he is single of course) or make him self a cup of tea in that society! It is a woman’s job according to the society.

Not every body afford to have a cleaning lady to help every now and then.

Some women in Egypt don’t mind to do all the hard work at home. They believe that it is their duty.  And it is the man’s job to provide food on the table. This means, that he works hard outside the house. Which is fine, as long as they are BOTH satisfied with it.

Other Women, suffer from it, because at the end of the day, the woman does n’t really find time for her self.

I’m not accusing all Egyptian men of selfishness here. But a lot of men in Egypt are not fair and selfish in relation to women’s rights and duties. And they take women for granted.

Then, you will hear the guy complaining that his woman does n’t take care of her body shape for instance! I wonder why does n’t she take care of it as well?!

Egyptian Women are in general well educated (even that there is a great deal of women are not educated at all); But in general, things got better and better in that regard –  for the recent past years in relation to women’s education.

In schools, Women get two languages to learn, English and French. Of course not all Women who get education, speak languages perfectly; But many Egyptian Women speak both french and English Languages alright.

Egyptian Women are now Ministers and taking very important posts, as long as they are competent in the working field.

There are so many Egyptian Women married to men from different nationalities. Not necessarily because Egyptian men are terrible. Marriage is considered here as a God thing. I believe it is.

You never know who will become your life partner. You choose alright; but most of the times, you ask your self, how did that happen?  I’m from the East and he is from the West?

Egyptian Women are very loyal to their men in general. And they get along well with the toughest life circumstances. And I really mean it here, for better and for worse.

She will never gave up on you, if you become poor or sick.

Egyptian Women are very brave in relation to hard circumstances and very strong in handling life injustice. An Egyptian Woman in that regard, equal to 100 men together in toughness and willingness.

Egyptian Women are real keepers.

Nowadays, you will see so many Moslem veiled women and many others are not wearing the veil. But putting the veil is not an obligation in the community.

Of course Coptic Christian they do not wear veil.

I don’t want you to think that Oh Yeah, she is saying all that poetry about Egyptian Women, because she is one of them. Not at all.

I have never mentioned here, that all Egyptian Women are Angels. Of course not. In every community there is good and bad. I’m talking in general and not in specific here.

I my self, am married to a non Egyptian Guy. A European. And how does that feel?

I consider my self the luckiest woman on earth. Why? Because he is really a unique guy. He treats me like I wanna be treated. Which means with love and respect.

We share everything. He helps me in all house work and he never feels ashamed of doing that. He believes in women equality to men in all aspects. I don’t.

Of course I encourage women rights, but I do not encourage those kinda of rights which will turn me to a competitor and a challenger to my man.

I do not respect that kinda of equality, which will put a mustache and a beard on my face!

If you ask me now, what is the difference of being married to an Egyptian before and a non Egyptian now?

I can answer that because I was married to an Egyptian and now to a non Egyptian.

I was not lucky with my Egyptian marriage, but I’m sure is the luckiest woman on earth with my non Egyptian husband marriage. Of course there is a big hell and heaven difference!

My husband and I, are coming from a totally two different cultures. But guess what? It’s a two way road and we both realized that from the beginning. We have simply met in the middle of the road, peacefully and with a very civilized natural way.

We managed to respect each other cultures and we discussed openly all the negative and positive about both cultures. And that is why we never had any conflict in that regard.

The Egyptian Civilization is a very great old one. So, how would you like to get to know 7000 years old civilization which is the Egyptian Women age!
